Dear Parents,
Welcome to term 4. We hope you like our freshly painted nursery room! Some new furniture and equipment has also been purchased and the children are enjoying exploring their ‘updated’ area.
Our topic this session is ‘under the sea’. We will be exploring creatures that live under the sea and reading all about the rainbow fish.
We will also be doing transition activities to get the children ready for P1. Miss Garven will be coming into nursery to familiarise herself with the children and for them to get to know her. The children will be teamed up with a ‘Buddy’ from this years’ P6 class who will help them when they go to school. The children will have the opportunity to buy their snack from the canteen once a week and go out into the P1 play area to join the children there over break time.
Nursery children will be given homelink packs over the next 6 weeks, commencing 9th May so look out for these.
